Tell you guys what, as I sit here siping some woodford reserve which is very good stuff I can see my new hobby becoming an obsession. After haveing my first quart of shine man I really don't want this store bought stuff anymore. This is gonna become a kickass hobby. I can't thank you guys enough for answering all my questions some really dumb some not so dumb.
I sure do need to start reading about ageing in oak barrels now. I can't wait to make my first run. Gonna be placing an order from mile high for a keg coupling to build off of.

I don't think I've ever tried Woodson Reserve but I definitely understand your opinion that your spirits either do or will surpass the quality... We have the option of making better cuts because profit margin isn't part of our equation...
