WalkingWolf got me to thinking "Had never thought about naming her".

So I am open for suggestions from any of you on names.

Can't think of any names but I'm curious as to how well that cap seals. Is it gonna take flour paste or did you get an airtight fit? Also what the little things I see on top of the cap? Thermo port? Whatcha got goin for a worm?

I used a 1" thick flange 10" diameter to push the top on, by one good blow. It did seal all but one small spot. Probably going to use noodles to seal.

Good eye. What you see on top is a surface thermometer I had from filling cylinders in the gas business. Just used it to see what the head got to. But it only went to 140 degrees. It was just laying there, will not be using it on any future projects.

The worm. You should see the 3/4 stainless coming out the bottom of the lyne arm. Using a 3/4 to 1/2 reducer to a copper coil worm. Will seal it up also with noodles.

Bought some parts today to start my thumper.

Right where its overlapped and welded right? Had the same issue on a stainless cap I built. Thats why I asked. Noodles huh? A simple flour and water paste I think would be easier but I guess thats just a noodle not in noodle form. :) Youll figure out what works best for you. And a thumper. Gotta have a thumper on a classic rig like that. All stainless as well I presume? I really like it man. Excellent work. And a name. How about Shorty? Other than that I'd go with LTWCS on the lady name. All my stills get girls names.

I've had Jenny1 which had to become Jenny2 after extensive rework. Sorta like my next dog will be called Blanik2. :) :)

Jenny is a nice neutral name for a still IMESHO. :) :)

Reason: upper case 'B' added in blanik2
