Hey Islandrunner.

I hope you held off on the sampling until you got down off of the roof! You been hanging out with Goose Eye?

you better check and see if those tomatoes are still there rc. In California, they probably floated away in the rain by now.

Still snowed in. Up to my ass snowed in. Cars can't get out. Deliveries can't come in. And everything pretty much sux. Me? I bought supplies days earlier when it was apparent there would be a storm....and mostly have been drinking. Still struggling with my storebought rigs....but last run was singles..on ale yeast....smelled just like womens parts. I swear..if you open this jar..every women in the place start tieing sweater around their waist. Smells like a whore on nickle night. (yeast). But...what to do? Can't make anymore between now and newyears. And I'm still backordred on parts for my new rigs (14 weeks and counting now...even after what I've built).
Would like to hear Paul Harvey explain that one!!

Sounds like you're having the time of your life. And the ale yeast part sounds absolutely horrendous, although I have to admit it put a smile on my face :D

I feel for ya. Up here in the great white north we're use to it, but add no power what a drag. Hope and pray you all come through safe and sound. Seems like the south east US got hit hard during the Christmas period.

You guys got some snow Braz and I feel for you if the piece of equipment is broke down. You could make short work of the snow with that. Now if you would have had just snow shovels leaned up against the garage you would have really tugged at my heart. lol
I am getting hammered now by snow and cold here so I know a little of what you guys are getting. Out here it snows a little or so much they use helicopters to get supplies to us. It can go either way.

Pretty warm down there. Where I'm at it's a balmy 46F, rather pleasant but North, Northeast, and West of here is blizzrds! My Dad's snowed in in Denver but he's in a retirement community. You Down under guys near all that flooding, sounds pretty bad? Read that it'd cover a couple of out states it's so big!

55 degrees and sunny here! Happier than a pig in mud to finally be home!!!

How 12" of snow delays a flight 6 days still boggles me... Looking back at it, the in-laws got spend some good time with my two babies (their grandchildren), so maybe staying there an extra 6 days was a good thing...

Found a few boxes sitting in my foyer when I got home... A shiny new 6 plate flute from K.S. I'll be running it in the morning.

My oldest daughter was marooned here for 3 extra days. It was nice to have her here.

Interesting to learn ya listen to NPR. Just about the only radio station I listen to, but then I also watch Fox News.

Glad ya had some "extra" time w/ur daughter. I see mine at least 2/3/4 times a week. That's good cuz were real close, but then my Swifter is missing, she's got my pocket camera (says I can have it back any time, ya right), she gave me one of "my" LLBean shirts for Christmas (she just borrowed it for a little while), finally found some of my wine glasses...at her house, coulda swore I had a whole bag of cat food, my toothpaste is missing, "lost" a whole sheet of postage stamps, and there was a dirty diaper in the toilet. Every time she leaves she says "Please don't blow up the house." But she does like my cordials, says they're the best. Oh ya, "Can I borrow some money?"

Central Victoria weather report.

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
South West, North Central, Northern Country and Central
Maximum temperatures around 41 degrees, relative humidity down to 9% and winds
averaging 55 km/h are expected. CFA and DSE advise that some fires will be

Just gotta love 'uncontrollable and fast moving' fires.
