Recently I tried to PM LWTCS and he did not get my messages but I received his, today I got a message from another member and it came to my regular email but does not appear in my new messages so I cannot respond back. My message box is only 49% full so I don't think that is the problem! Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Re: Messages
This is the first problem I have heard of. Are you sure you have not sorted the messages in some non-default way. There likely is a pull down selection box at the bottom of the page, listing sort order.
For testing, you can always send yourself PM's, until you figure it out. But I have not seen or heard of any problems.

I probably should have PMed you, at the top of my page it shows 0 new messages, yet last night in my email it said Uncle Jesse received a message from Northwoods brewer. I will try your suggestion and PM myself.Husker wrote:This is the first problem I have heard of. Are you sure you have not sorted the messages in some non-default way. Re: Messages
Husker, I sent you a PM not sure you got it but I tried everything you suggested, my messages are in decending order and so no problem with the mix up, I sent myself a PM and it appeared in my Home email but not on the HD messages. So I cannot think of anything else to try. If I want to respond back to a person I guess the only way is to locate that person and try a PM that way...Not sure that will work did you get my PM?Husker wrote:This is the first problem I have heard of. I got 2 pm's from you (looked identical to each other).Bushman wrote:Husker, I sent you a PM not sure you got it but I tried everything you suggested, my messages are in decending order and so no problem with the mix up, I sent myself a PM and it appeared in my Home email but not on the HD messages. I wonder if there is a setting in the user control panel, that sends PM's to your email, but does not drop them into the PM inbox. I will look.

Re: Messages
I have looked at your global permissions, and things look correct. You should be able to send, receive, read PM's (and emails).
Also, I have looked that the preferences on your profile, and you are setup to allow ppl to email you, and to be able to send PM's to you. I do not see what is wrong. Things are properly setup, and permissioned.
I have gone out to the DB and 'repaired' and 'optimized' the tables that make up the PM's. The DB console did not show any 'problems', but I wanted to get the tables rebuilt, just in case.
