Hello from NH

Post by MGilbert3 »

Hey I just recently learned about home distillation and made a 3 gallon pot still. I'm looking to run some corn mash through it that I've let ferment the last 2 weeks while i built my still. I'll post up pictures of it in the pot still category. Hope my first tests a good one.

Welcome to the forum, what recipe are you doing first, did you get it from the Tried & True section?

Welcome...also you should do a cleaning run with vinegar and water followed by a sacrificial alcohol run to properly clean your still. Save your corn mash for your first drinking batch and just run a cheap wine wash for cleaning purposes or a simple sugar wash. Good luck on your stillin'
