Marijuana Laws vs. Moonshine Laws
I'm writing a history paper on the history of distilation and
I would like to put in my paper on which laws would
get you in trouble more if someone was caught with pot
or moonshine.
Can someone send me a few links on on this?
Also, I just put in for my distillers permit. Wish me luck
And for the record, I do not smoke grass.

Marijuana is legal in my state but without a license distilling is not, never thought that law would pass before the same rights as making beer in our state.

That is correct but all our local news say the Feds are not going to step in and it's a wait and watch what happens situation. So currently people are applying for sales licenses and so forth. One of the big concerns is the person in an establishment that isn't smoking yet is effected by the second hand smoke and then becomes impaired while driving.Tater wrote:not by federal law through right bushman?

Or is exposed second hand like that then drug tested at work. I know many employers can still test you and fire you if you fail. Of course I doubt second hand is much of a risk in public places, I'm betting no smoking in restruants and bars means no smoking, doesn't matter what you want to smoke.Bushman wrote:That is correct but all our local news say the Feds are not going to step in and it's a wait and watch what happens situation. I know that in my area distilling "licker" is a felony. Thats big trouble in my book. Is that more trouble than pot? Yes and no. It all depends on how much weed you are found with. Both should be legal as far as I care.

I concur with tater. Let the 420 folks handle this so we can stay focused.

If you can smoke grass in your State you gotta be in Colorado (though there are more grass fires in Cali) than anywhere else! I guess that's why they don't see themselves as part of the US of A and most of the time they get confused about who they are supposed to fornicate with - but don't much care anymore anyway and why do we have an Alien for president? Doh! See, Cali - well the Bay area of San Francisco is quite laid back like so laid back that they are the only guys who can walk horizontal looking at the stars and drink moonshine, smoke a Reefer - and examine the crystal meth in their hand at the same time, mind they do tend to have an argument with a San Franciscan Tram every so often!
Do you guys ever get or buy Polish Spirit in the US of A. Its available in Home-brew shops in England and is a higher proof than whiskey with no taste - being clear like water with no evidence of Fussel Oil like there is with some Vodka's (you use black pepper to take the fussel oil to the bottom when drinking some vodka's and just drink the top bit above the oily sediment). We use it here to fortify wines or mead to make them stronger.
