I love it truly I do, we were raised educated, just because you are not wealthy in money, one mustn't be ignorant. The value of the word is not lost but relished in the minds of those who savor it. Louis Lamour is my favorite author, Goose eye my second.

I don't know about others, but I've always pictured Rad as a naked guy, sitting on the crapper, drinking hooch

You design it, I make it. Copper and Stainless. Down under. PM me.

You notice he's not chimed in here kinda shocking. That avatar suits him well, the caption should read, " f••kin; noobs all want to be spoon fed, suck it up buttercup".. I got tons of respect for him tho.emptyglass wrote:I don't know about others, but I've always pictured Rad as a naked guy, sitting on the crapper, drinking hooch

Never drank, or eaten, or talked on the phone, while on the crapper...
I'd be the 6'3", trim, cop looking guy in the room... Been getting asked if I'm one constantly my entire adult life... And whether I go to the gym, which I don't... Now, that should throw most everyone for a loop...

if that is accurate depiction...i'm betting me (and my teenage spicoli ((fast times at ridgemont high)) self) , you and moosemilk would have been drinkin' buddies if we went to the same high school.apdb wrote:Bwaaa haaa. My son made this one of me. He got my sense of humour.

I'd probably throw everybody for a loop with the current me. 41 but constantly told I look 30 (even have to prove it when I tell them how old I am), my clothes are all Abercrombie, hollister, xavier, tap-out, etc brand names, short kinda spikes hair (almost the "Dane cook" style), doc martin shoes (most comfortable shoes I've ever worn), just shy of 5'11. Put some weight on recently from thyroid problem (meds now and coming down again) so I'm at about 285 lbs but prior was 235 and I work out. Personality I am a bit ocd, but not extreme and pretty much take it as it goes. Seldom get stressed out, take it one day at a time and enjoy every minute of them.

Save it to the pictures on your computer, use a photo editor to get it to 80x80 pixels or less and save. Then pull it up after proper size. Got the grandson toooo much candy this last Halloween accompanying him looking like that!

Re: How we see fellow Forum members
HAA ya sure about that . my old man is in a service club back home and the fella that built their web page and until his resent death in his 102 year he was still the one maintaining it, reckon he forgot my about these dang contraptions than I will ever know
Perhaps while here I can give a more accurate account of myself than previously alluded to. those here that have met me know I am pretty similar to how I project myself, I am the sort of person that enjoys helping ppl am a chatter box and always kidding around. I am what ya might call a hillbilly or redneck, ozzy style anyways and have been called as much. I by unfortunate circumstance left school at a young age but have endeavoured to educate myself ever since and years ago it was not uncommon to find me sitting up all hours reading things like a set of encyclopaedia's from start to finish. As far as distilling goes members of my family were involved with stilling some legitimately for certain well known distilleries and some were perhaps what you would call bootleggers (wish I has taken the time to learn more from all of them). My first avatar of a fella with a broad rimmed sitting holding and old side hammer shotgun and a colt with shine at his foot was darn close to what I would look like and be dressed like before I was clean shaven (beards gone as grey as a coppers horse) anyways. but someone else here started using the same avatar
My present avatar is the Grandfather of my stepsons girlfriend, it is the photo of a painting at her mothers house I just loved it
Edit oh yeah and not all my booze is great due to me often trying new experiments but I'd put my rum, whiskey and plum brandy up against anyone's (perhaps not my rakia and a few other fails)
EG and googe were kinda like I had envisaged them, others not so much

Rad to me is like a tall gunslinger from those Wyatt Earp days...quiet, but full of knowledge and able to blow a hole thru a bottletop as it flies off the bottle...he then would explain factually why physics allow this to happen...and we all listen intently.

yep bit hard to tell acactly what i look like from that and that is just fine and dandy with me but yeah the was me awhile back in my typical construction site work clobber, saw your picture briefly aways back and didn't even need to see who posted it to guess it was you
EG it a bit more wiry than i might have thought but as soon as I saw him I thought yeah ok this fella is EG for sure
Did enjoy reading the banter with Rad given the similarity with the avatars, I to think it is most uncouth to eat or talk on the phone while attending the thunder box,and even detest hollering though the door. Can't say I never took a bottle a booze with me and may or may not have texted/checked the forum

I agree with the gas mask an night vision. Like the clothing, but hate the smell and dark. Same goes with Abercrombie. I shouldn't have to wash the smell of the store out before I wear it!The KYChemist wrote:moosemilk wrote:I'd probably throw everybody for a loop with the current me. I agree with the puppet 'Walter' as what I had in mind for Rad. I was way off for PP. would have never guessed duck dynasty. As for me I'm 5'8" and 220 lbs. won a few state titles as a power lifter when I was still competing but now just lift heavy for fun. I wear the same high and tight flat top I've had since high school, along with the cheesy 70's porn star mustache. I'm another one that everyone mistakes for a cop.

i write fiction in my mind (never on paper) so i have been thinking about you characters a bit.
rad= AA, athletic accountant, kind of guy that works hard (on things that take concentration) so he can play golf and go to the gym
PP= gentleman farmer (missed by a mile huh?)
moose= the teenage meatloaf turned lennox furnace guy (missed there too)
woodshed=as noted, but with shorter hair (based on business ideas)

halfbaked= flatwoods younger brother with a trim greying haircut sitting in a wingback chair with a tumbler, stogie, dog and a fire in the fireplace.
googe= 50ish handsome rural type farmer type.
bushman=heavyset fit bear of a man, retired suntanned with smile line wrinkles.
Tal= probably what pp actually looks like.(by above description since we have never met)
croweater=sam elliot
jimbo=eric clapton at 50 (but i may have read that some where?
TP=biker light. mullet, forearm tats, mean enough look to keep people on their toes but corporate enough to have the senior position.
TB=my old man was a trucker so i see him when i read you. thanks.
boomtown=tommy Bahama shirt, shorts and leather sandals. gold wristwatch and a couple big rings. tanned, smile crowsfeet. needs glasses, doesn't wear them

Me, someone came up to me about 10 yrs ago and asked if I was Hank Williams Jr. Not necessarily a complement but kinda accurate. Red Rim, when your wife makes fun of your gut, the proper reply is , "Hey, I went from a 6 pack to a keg!" LOL. Trying to guess what you all look like is tough, I'll leave it this, if there were a bar full of all you, I know it by the conversations and that'd be my new hang out.....I'm sure the whiskey would be good as the laughs.
