Walmart, right now has cider for $3 a gallon.
Hot damn!
I bought ten gallons. It is not worth picking up apples for that price!

This batch however, will go to hard cider for my wife. A little yeast, keg it and you have hard cider for $.28 a glass. How do you beat that?

That's a great price, but I hate going to Wal-Mart but damn, pressing your own apples in a tiny press is a lot of work. Last Friday my Safeway had Tree top on sale for $3.33 a gallon ($1.66 1/2 gallon) and I just couldn't pass that up so I bought 5 gallons in spite of not having a free carboy at the moment. I might have to go to the dreaded mart store now just so I can make a comparison between store bought cider, apple juice and home pressed. I also just discovered 8 bottles of cider I made last year that I didn't realize I had, I thought it had all been drank or given away. Found a bunch of other wine I thought my son had drank too. Amazing what you find when you clean out your garage.

I bought plenty of bungs and airlocks to suit our bulk juice bottles and just ferment in the bottles. Add 1/2 tsp yeast, airlock, sit them in a tray to catch any overflow then wait.

Good deal. My wife has been using one of those for about 3 years now and she loves it. If you drink a lot of coffee the K-cups get a bit pricy but if you stock up when they are on sale it's not so bad. It's still cheaper than Starbucks or Cutters.

Forgive the link, but I want everyone to have heard about this coffee.

It's been my Favorite for a while now.

You know that Smokey undertone we chase in spirits?

Meet the coffee. It's awesome. And a great price. All San Fran blends are great. And they are very eco friendly company. Check them out. Their fog chaser is lighter, and $25 for 80 right now. The french roast is smack you in the face bold

Last night my wife wanted to do the black Friday thing but didn't want to go alone, so at midnight we went and did all the usual shopping, of course now since all the stores open Thursday afternoon when I was in a turkey coma there weren't many good deals to be had. We wound up heading home about 4AM. On the way I noticed a big dumpster full of stuff in front of a vacant house, so me being me and against the objections of my wife I pull over and grab a flashlight and climb up to see what I could find quickly. Right on top and easy to reach were 3 boxes of grinding pads that weren't wet yet and sell for a minimum of $25 a box on eBay :D and a 2Ft length of 2 inch Stainless Steel pipe. There is some sort of black coating inside the pipe, paint maybe, so I'm not sure I can use it for something alcohol related and I'm not sure what I would do with a piece that short even if I can get the black stuff out but I will still make 75 bucks out of the deal. I'm thinking I might go back out alone tonight and see what else may be there, you never know what might be in a dumpster.

Just bought two blue 30-gallon poly fermenting barrels with lids and lock rings for $74 (total) delivered to my door. The seller is on EBAY and goes by the name BUZSY. He has tons of fermenting and brewing (keggles and such) items for sale with a 99%+ rating. Pretty good deal, in my opinion.

Found Christmas trees on sale for 50% off so I bought two. :ewink:

Just kidding but a friend did that years ago and I haven't forgotten it. Since he lived in a small apartment at the time I asked him what he was going to do with the extra one.
He said "put it in the bathroom or something." :wtf:

Over here Tate & Lyle's cane sugar seems to have become rather cheap in several shops, 49p a kilo in some, 2kg for a £1 in others.

That means I can make 44l of birdwatchers wash for around £6!
