Here's the coolant line connections for my product condenser.
The fittings are homemade to connect to a garden hose.
A little bit of cutting and brazing made for a simple and clean connection.

I use 1/4" 0.035 (4mm) polyflow in compression fittings with flowmeters for the dephlegmator and liebeg using 60psig utility water. Probably would need 3/8" (6mm) with a pump.

I use 3/8" poly line in push to connect fittings, it makes it handy for set up and take down.

Re: Coolant line connections.
For CSST to PVC...coat the CSST with any epoxi to make it smooth and use hose clamps.
When I have a permanent setup I'll use better reinforced hose, but the PVC does o.k. until it gets really hot and soft.

Re: Coolant line connections.
For my notorious PVC jacketed liebig, I have 1/2" nylon fittings that are threaded into the PVC jacket. They have a 90 degree elbow to a barbed connection. The barbs allow me to slip on the clear vinyl hoses and they hold without clamps. If the hoses start showing any kind of wear or stretching, I just cut off a half inch or so any they are as good as new. The elbows help to prevent the hoses from kinking.

1/2" Sharkbite connectors. They attach from copper to pex. I use one with a threaded male end to attach to the female compression fitting on the end of my CSST coil.

Re: Coolant line connections.
For all of my equipment I use 1/4" copper stubs soldered onto still components and clear 5/16" Tygon hose for cooling, slip fit onto the stubs without clamps... I have made several different sink adapters over the years and use the sinks faucet lever to regulate water flow...

Pex and push to connect fittings. It takes less than a minute to breakdown and setup the irrigation.
I run it off a tee that I installed at my cold water washing machine line in and use the existing drain.

Thanks for the info all!. People using pex *-:-) what do you use to connect the the condenser lines?, (copper tube to pex fitting) and if using a big pump, how do you go from 1/4" to 1/2" for example?.
Edit, I mean the push connect fittings!.

This is a 1/2" × 1/4" Sharkbite brand push connect reducer fitting. These will fit copper to pex no fuss no muss.googe wrote:Thanks for the info all!.
