WOW! I've never heard of that breed before. Apparently the SEAL team that killed Bin Laden brought a Belgian Malinios dog named Cairo with for the mission. Awesome animal indeed.

We had Bouvier des Flanders growing up. they are oft used as police dogs in europe i understand. the one we had was trained to quietly allow an intruder in, corner him and hold him. the only dog i have ever had that could understand entire english sentences and do virtually anything on command (execpt tricks like roll over or shake a paw...which was entirely beneath him) "watch 'em" was my favorite!
you could tell him "go get the horses" he would bring them all back...you could name just one of 5 and he would cut the one you wanted.
as a 5 to 15 yr old, i feared nothing and no one with him by my side. Damn, i'm starting to get nostalgic.

I'd have one today but they are oily, stinky creatures and the wife insists all dogs are house dogs...even my new "pup" an English Mastiff x Pressa Canario he is 16 weeks and 62Lbs. sire was close to 250 and the pressa bitch was approaching 150, apparently they instinctively knock down intruders and lay on them. HEHEHEH

Then you definitely wouldn't like my .44 Ruger handloads. They are ~.0.7" longer than standard and have the exterior ballistics of a .445 super mag. You can only run them in a Ruger Blackhawk or Redhawk. They will push a 320gr bullet faster than a factory 200gr. Heavy roll crimp is a must. Fun, but loud and punishing.

Got little dogs that run with the stock, Great Pyrenees. Big babies if they know you, not so much for strangers.

Used to have problems with hunters climbing my fences but they seemed to have problems getting back out quick enough. Whole perimeter is posted with no hunting w/o permission signs. Dogs have brought me jackets, boots and other things. Interesting things dogs find out on the mountain.

Somebody was talking about digging. Lot easier if you live in Appalachia. Sinkholes everywhere need filled up. Just sayin'.

Very deadly... I used to make hot custom 22LR rounds back in the 70's with tips like that and they would obliterate a woodchuck at 100 years... They would tear an aluminum pop can in half and then some... With some hits every fragment turns into a little buzz saw headed in its own direction and can change direction several times... Ground "chuck", anyone...???
