I guess I struggle with the definition of "cant watch" I have a deeper issue of "cant stay awake through" movies such as Jurassic park, and those ring movies.. My kids laugh at me but I always provide some serious snoring whenever I watch those...
If the movie leaves the realm of possibility then my mind abandons it. Time travel movies are OUT also...(except; Back to the Future which was fun)

Brokeback mountain. There i said it.
The idea of watching a film with Donnie Darko playing leap frog with the Joker just doesn't sit well with me.

I'm quite good at suffereing through movies.
But some romcoms I just can't hack and have to walk away, think Afflec, Aniston, Vaughn, JLO etc.
Also drift off when starwars come on, just not in to it.

Don't mind military movies, just take it for what it is, mindless action.
Who would watch the reality, you sitting on stag for hours and bitching about your SGT?

i'm just the opposite. Reality sucks. Schindler's list was so real, so palpable...the atrocity so unconscionable it was unwatchable from an emotional standpoint.

I won't suffer PTSD from watching talking lions, dinosaurs or people jumping through space/time the lighhearted unbeliveable-ness of it all is what makes it entertaing for me.

so can't watch is one thing..

won't watch? most of the schlock mentioned ^^^ especially will ferrell, steven segal, chuck norris, van damme.

love to watch? charlize theron, al pacino, oliver platt, simon pegg, meryl streep, tom hanks and dicaprio. and of course, Clint Eastwood.
I finally quit drinking for good.

I can't watch movies in general. I find myself distracted by the thoughts of "I could be doing this or that". Then if I've been drinking, I fall asleep from sitting still for that long.

I was gonna put that in there, I do the same. I pick em apart and it ruins it for everyone.
X 2, I love how a grenade will blow up building with a massive fireball! Or the sniping with an automatic weapon, it goes on and on, how about no shirt on, to show the muscles and cam on the face...lol. Hey look, a bare chest with two belts of ammo slung around it but no head because he painted his face green....and he's carrying a m-16 to shoot all that linked ammo! :lolno:

van damme, missed that one, another poser/loser/fake tough guy.

I can't watch the original Karate Kid with Ralph Machio. As Clint would say it. He needs to be manned up a bit.

"Showgirls" was the only movie we actually walked out on. Why we paid to see it is beyond me AND my wife.
Permanently sidelined Elizabeth Berkley's career and rightfully so. If I were her, I'd sue myself and the producers. :problem:

That Twilight crap..
I sat through it for my wife because she wanted to know what the hype was all about.
She tried to get me to watch 50 Shades of Grey as well but I got away in a hurry.

Jacob's Ladder. It's a brilliant movie, but it's a nightmare. No other movie has made me feel that uncomfortable for that long. I regret sticking with it and watching the whole thing.

Y'all ever hear of an actor wannabe called Tom Cruze or Wesley Snipes, they got all the credibility of James Stewart acting the tough guy

With the whole remake fad that's happening these days... I'd love to see them "reboot" Jacobs Ladder with using all todays special effects and movie magic, no holds barred. That movie was dark!
