What a score!
Came across this old tank on the curb side today. Has a label on it which says copper. Don't know for sure if its copper or brass. Don't know how many gallons either. Would make a great boiler but I believe its a bit to big for the rules we live by. May just bring it to the scrape yard for some spending money. Sure is a beauty though.

Meta-data... Are you using a dumbphone for the pics...??? It's a common problem...Deerhunter wrote:why do some of my pics end up turned at times.
As for that tank, you could make two boilers out of it easily... Or a boiler and a thumper...

so tank measures 60" x 16" which as per calculations gives me a Total Volume = 52.22 Gallons US

Don't send it to scrap heaven!
A suggestion:
Cut it into 1/3 and 2/3.
Then; you can easily clean it inside, and
you can make a potstill and a thumper!
Or whatever...
