I've not said anything about, but our youngest, Christina, was diagnosed with leukemia November 7th.
She died this morning at 6.20
She would been 38 in April
She leaves behind two sons, 3.5 and 7

Her favorite expression was 'top top' no matter what was chucked at her.

My current mash is going to be called Tiptop bourbon in her honor.

So sorry to hear Eric. My brother lost his son at 26. I consider him one of the strongest people I know to persevere through this.

Sorry for your loss .We lost a grand son 12 years old to same . Found out sat morning he had it and he died Sunday morning .Been a couple of years now and still doesn't seem real . Cant say it gets better but ya do get use to living with it.

Sorry to hear about your loss, nothing worse than losing a child or grandchild. We are not meant to outlive our children. Our granddaughter years ago when just a baby was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease and spent several trips to the hospital. Different stages but she had it almost to the stage it was untreatable. We were lucky and she made it through and eventually recovered and is now normal size. She still goes in for annual check ups.
