Nothing to hide Hugel
There is no doubt that Odin was a respected member of the forum for many years and contributed much .
However as his business grew , his contribution to the forum decreased until it was all about his products , blogs and courses .
All know that advertising on this forum is frowned upon , but Odin continued to use this place as an advertising platform . Despite several sincere requests from mid/admin to tone it down , his agenda only strengthened.

It was after much heated discussion among our mod/admin team that the discussion to remove him was made .

Ultimately it was his choice .

I’ve said it before , we take banning very seriously and never is it done by a single person with an agenda or vendetta. All bannings are thoroughly debated before a decision is made .

And like Shineon Crazy Diamond said , we take no pleasure in proudly announcing it as a triumph .

An announcement written in an objective manner, what's the problem? It looks a bit suspicious, if we get the information two years later by accident. It looks like someone want's to hide something. Most members here appreciate Odin's posts. So if we don't get any info what happened, we will think it was a wrong decision.
Of course after that we have to accept such a decision regardless if we think it was right to ban him or if we don't think that it was enough to ban him.
Case closed for me. I only wanted to point out that there are other IMO better ways of handling such things.
Its kinda simple here ya break rules your banned .Odin kept advertising in posts . That is not allowed here .Was asked several time to quit it and only post in classifieds as rules state . He didnt I banned him .That was between Odin and HD rules not really any one else's business. Just caused shit fights when done otherwise. Read rules and follow them and you will never have a problem here . Now back to topic no use beating a dead horse . [ Edit posted same time as yummy]

Even if he wasn’t banned I don’t think he has time or would continue to post. Years ago he invited me and I went to his plant in the Netherlands to run one of his automated stills thus he emails me his business newsletter monthly that he sends out to his customers. He says he now has 40% of the world market and has opened a school to train distillers on using his stills.

When I searched for Demmy, I didn't get any results in the member search. I assumed Setsumi just misspelled.

We traded emails in August and he is doing great. He confirmed his health is good and that he still conducts a monthly distillation for friends/family. He gets on HD and reads through some posts periodically.
