I usually make BW or AB. It is always good with fresh OJ but I found something I like even better. Try mixing a little of the afore said with some welches escentials Peach/Mango. Tastes great and is actually good for you.

Drinking a glass of slightly cooled white wine a customer gave me some time ago. A 1996 Riesling Spätlese. Very nice!

I think I will have one or two more.

Nice! I like a good sweet wine like the Rieslings too. Right now Im drinking coffee, its morning time here, but last night during the Hawks/Bruins game I was double fisting an IPA I make with AU Topaz hops, and a rocks glass full of wheat whiskey on ice, while I was screaming at the TV. The cold melting ice really brings out the fruit in that whiskey.

Happy Fathers Day to all you HD dads out there.

Cheers.

Jimbo,

Thanks for sharing! I see you drinking that beer, but somehow have a hard time envisioning the "fisting" part.

Let's keep it that way!

Jimbo, that's not what those pretty Icelandic girls told me!

Thanks for explaining tho.

Moscow Mule? Curious, so looked it up:

I hope it is tastier than it looks, Bushy!

Back on topic: I just downed a pure rye whiskey. With a cigar. Nice.

Next weekend it is of to Poland! I think I will be fed some vodka. If I come back with any memories at all, for sure I will tell!

Odin.

Edit: I dived a bit further into the moscow mule and even though in the picture it looks like hot chocolate, that might be because of the mug.

Bushman, would the soft drink Ginger Ale together with vodka make a good MM? Or does it need to be a real ginger beer with alcohol in it?

made with vodka, ginger beer and lime.

Odin it is traditionally served in a copper cup but it is actually a clear drink. Here is a picture of my glass 1/2 full enjoying Father's Day having the kids BBQ dinner and serve drinks.

Edit there are different ginger beers, I like mine with a non alcoholic ginger beer. Some ginger beers are not that good!

Panela rum and Coke. Have a couple few nice CAO Brazilia cigars and a couple Cohibas but they are still sitting in the humidor. Bought them about a month ago but I didn't trust the humidor in the store so I am letting them soak up some moisture before I put the fire to them.

Bushman, just how much vodka per ginger beer per lemon lime would be perfect? Want to know, because this looks like a perfect summer drink.

As of lately, I have been buying different bottles of KENTUCKY produced bourbon, after the previous bottle has been depleted. Right now, I'm currently enjoying a brand called "Larceny". The worst I've found, by far, is a brand that goes by the name "Kentucky Vintage". The folks who make Kentucky Vintage also have three other brands of "craft" bourbon. Idon't think I'll be trying any of these, due to my bad experience with their first offering and an escalating price point. This ends up at the bottom of my list, along with Jim Beam. Don't know why, but I just don't like the taste of Beam. Not very good at describing the taste, but I know what I like. Here is the list of what I've tried so far, with my favorites at the top.

1. Woodford Reserve
2. Maker's Mark
3. Buffalo Trace
4. Wild Turkey 101
5. Maker's 46
6. Town Branch
7. Larceny

Kentucky Vintage and Beam don't even get to be on my list.
