Spike Your Juice!

For ten bucks you get one cheap airlock and six packets of yeast. Pour the yeast into your fruit juice. Attach airlock. Wait 48 hours.

No racking... No nothing... Just yeast and fruit drink... Hmmm... What about the preservatives...??? How do you explain that belly full of yeast to the medical professionals...???

I guess we can tell that the economy is hurting when folks try to get rich quick with a scheme like this...

They have a great idea, I make wine from juice all the time (A) because very little racking is involved, and a quick fermentation and (B) it is a fairly cheap way to make some decent wine when no fruits are available, the stupid part is them trying to capitalize on it, I could make two gallons of decent table wine for the 10 bucks they would have me pay for JUST YEAST AND AN AIRLOCK
I beleive there is a reason the ancients frequently referred to it, in thier respective languages, as the water of life.

The Sherf lives just down the road from me...

Maybe I'm just old, but I remember there being a little bottles of Hires root beer extract. Add a packet of bakers yeast, 1 lb of sugar (or something like that), the bottle of extract and add it to a gallon jug loosely capped. A week later root beer!

Next up: Add yeast to energy drinks so you can stay awake all night while you projectile vomit every meal you've had in the last month.

I can see why so many people think that all homebrew alcohol is disgusting.

"Home made"

"read the fine print, , , ,"

BTW, I once fermented some 'Nalleys' lumberjack pancake syrup, (not intentionally), it had been open for a short time, it tasted funny, carbonated. I shook the container and slowly bubbles formed and the bottle started to swell up, slowly again. I poured it into a gallon jug and topped it off with water + airlock. One of these days I'll get out the pressure cooker pot and pot still it out. -hey-
