Hi boys and girls,

How is everyone? well i hope!

I'm very new to this whole scene. I am thinking of getting onto making my own spirits, either rum or vodka, depending on what I choose to use as my feedstock. But we'll see.

I love the this forum, and hopefully, i'll fit in nicly,

Well if yer confused, and nervous, you need to do more research and ask questions before jumping in. Alot of bad things can happen if you dont know what yer doin. Welcome, and dont be afraid to ask! The only dumb question is the one you didnt ask

Greetings, phoenix101...

As previously stated, do your research... There is a wealth of information here, both in these forums and on the parent site... Soak it up like a sponge and the fear should subside...

Good luck, and good reading...

Welcome aboard.

Nothing wrong with being a little nervous and I'm confused all the time. Don't get to intimidated with the wealth of info here. When it comes right down to it distilling safely is simple, distilling well takes a little more effort.

Phoenix, when I was jumping out of aircraft at 14.000 feet I was always a bit nervous, but always landed OK. The fools who weren't nervous were the ones who finished up in trees.

SB is right.
