Same here.
But! If you will read write or laugh at whatever your first item is and then instead of hitting the return button
hit the board index key instead, good to go after that.

Went to the login page with cookies enabled, Logged in then saved a new bookmark to HD, and now everything s back to normal...
Hope it helps guy's...

firefox 4. i figgered it out. the bookmark that i had did not match the current location for whatever reason. must have been some sort of artifact from the switch? it still brought me to the site, but i was not logged in on that particular page/version of it. re-did my bookmark, now all good.

Re: not staying logged in
Now that you mention it, I ended up redoing my shortcuts too because mine didn't have the www in the URL and was having some odd problems during the migration to the new server... And one of those problems was having to login repeatedly...condensificator wrote:firefox 4. i figgered it out. the bookmark that i had did not match the current location for whatever reason. must have been some sort of artifact from the switch? it still brought me to the site, but i was not logged in on that particular page/version of it. re-did my bookmark, now all good.

Re: not staying logged in
Good advise, I haven't experienced any problems unless I log in from an outside computer.

so, maybe it's answering as http://homedistiller.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow but not homedistiller.org?

Using latest Opera as a browser within my Opensuse (Linux) system, as Rad pointed out, update your shortcuts and your good to go...

Yes this is happening to me all the time. Being constantly logged out, I just logged in 2 or 3 times in immediate succession.

Re: not staying logged in
I recently updated to IE 9. My bookmark is http://homedistiller.org/forum/index.php. I had not noticed, but now after I have read this thread, I don't think I have had to log on one time. Maybe the first time after I updated. I don't remember.

Re: not staying logged in
Members having issues with staying logged in are urged to make efforts to determine whether such issues are web browser client related as opposed to being related to the Home Distiller site itself... Most of the issues described would be related to the web browser client and not the forum software itself...
So, what might be causing problems remaining logged in...??? An improperly set computer system date... Antivirus software... Antispyware software... Antimalware software... Browser Toolbars which may or may not incorporate site or cookie related components... Browser security settings or add-on's... And the list goes on and on...

Re: not staying logged in
Rad, I might add to my post just above that I continually run Norton AntiVirus in the background, and I try to run at least once a week my Defraggler, SuperAntiSpyware, CCleaner, and Malwarebytes' AntiMalware programs.
I just ran all except the Defraggler program, and I had to log in to HD to reply. My guess is that a cookie I needed was deleted. I Xed everything and brought up HD again. I was still logged in. Now that I think about it I don't think I had run these programs since I updated to IE 9.
My best guess is that any problems people may be having are caused by their computer system and not the HD site.
I post this info in case it may help someone, or at least give them some idea what might be wrong if they are having problems.

Several security softwares will delete cookies that don't need to be deleted... You can usually set an exception for specific cookies within these softwares... If the software deleting the cookie can be located then check into setting an exception for this entire domain...
