The book on gins & vodka's

Post by Odin »

Esteemed colleagues,

I cannot find a pdf copy of The book on gins & vodka's by Dan Simmons. Some pages on the vodka department, yes, but not the whole book, or the more interesting parts on gins. Especially given my interest in gins & genevers.

Can anybody help me out?

What about 'Making Gin and Vodkas', by John Stone? Any use to you?

Ian,

No, that book I already know. Thank you!

BM,

Maybe it is called the book on gin & vodka, without the plural.

Odin I did a little searching for it . And I came up with nothing at all. Is it an old obscure book? Where was the author from? May be blocked by territorial searching? Just a thought.

Bob Emons wrote it! I got the name wrong!

Here is a link to the book I mean. It should be great (as I understand it), since it gives some great gin / genever recipes. And also some Dutch Aulde Genever recipe's. That's what I am after.

Here is the link:

And thank you all for the help & efforts so far!

I will have to look into that. See if the French ship to Holland. And at what costs.

Thanx!

The option of choice if you only want a small piece of info?

Great Ian,

Now - as you will always see - the recipes I am after are in the closed of sections. But reading the other parts was great fun.

Braz, when you get a chance will you critique the book as it also covers aquavit so I would also be interested. That price is about 1/4th what Odin originally found on amazon.
