Wanted to say Howdy

Post by brewmasterDan »

Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. I am a professional Brewmaster and have been mashin and malting for almost 15 years now. I enjoy reading to posts so I figured I would sign up and make myself official. I will be happy to help answer any questions that I can from my knowledge and experience. Cheers all to the new year.

Greetings, brewmasterDan...

Are you looking to do all grain mashes or just here to give advice...??? Reason I ask is that we seem to be getting a lot of lookie loos coming through here recently... Not being mean, just making sure you really want to be here and are interested in home distillation... Your beer making experience might serve helpful in making all grain mashes - minus the hops, of course...

Are there any spirits you are interested in making, like rum, whiskey, scotch, or other...??? Have you considered any still designs to date or only in the research phase...???

Good luck and stay safe...

I have also been distilling for over 8 years with both pot and column stills. Learned a few tricks from some Appalachian mountain men as well as other Master Distillers such as Jimmy Bedford from Jack Daniels. I also got to pick the brains of the Rogue brewers and Distillers when they got their operations up and running. I am not a lookie Loo as rad has put it other than I have watched the forum for a while and figured I would join to help in anyway that I am asked or able to. Thanks
