Little or nothing to do with distillation.

distilling or drinking? What would you give up (if you have to)?
Vodka consumed wisely is harmless even in large amounts.

Nice one Mr. P. I like to run stills I've build then.

Easy, drinking. Just gotta train a son or neighbor to do it for me. I couldn't live with myself watching people taste my spirits without me. The anxiety would be unbearable. Plus, how am I going to taste the cuts if I can't touch alcohol?

No matter, anyone would have quite a fight on their hands trying to make me give up something that gives me passion. That is until I'm to old to throw a valve.

For me I think the building and the enjoyment of drinking something of quality I made. Kind of a toss up though because I like building and drinking. Well my still so far has been built while drinking lol.

I would drink regardless, but distilling makes it far better! I like to do anything I can do myself and being able to do it better than commercial makes me smile.

Everything's better homemade, to be a distiller one needs to build, to distill one needs to drink, to drink we must distill. The circle of spirit is unbroken, so intertwined they are all the same. There's only one answer to be. Melloman

my preferences have changed over time. I used to be loving the drinking, now I'm about the making. The building holds a special spot too. The actual drinking has slipped to a distant third

For me it's definitely building then distilling (which to my mind is a form of building) then drinking. I'm really a beer drinker...
