Ok,
just as a mental exercise before I leap fully into creating my first mash.
I have a converted watercooler with a ball valve tap. It holds 25L of liquid as my mash tun.
My grain bill is:
5.5 Kg of flaked corn
0.5 Kg of rolled oats
0.5 Kg of Dark munich malt
3.0 Kg of Pilsner Malt
My strike water temp is 76.2 Degrees
My Striker water vol is 23.75 Litres
Now with those details, and considering the size of my Mash tun. I am right in thinking I would have to do this is two batches, and adjust my Striker water vol/temp accordingly?

Re: Getting Mashed
Yep. It won’t all fit in your mash tun at once. Get a bigger tun.

Re: Getting Mashed
76.2C is okay for the unmodified grains. I’d wait till the mash was at 65C before adding the malted grains.
🎱 The struggle is real and this rabbit hole just got interesting.

+, mash at lower temps. you want it to ferment dry.... unless you will drink the beer.
