I have been mooching knowledge from this site for about 2.5 years now so I thought I could at least share a picture. My first still was a bokakob ministill. I ran it on the stove in my kitchen and it was great but quickly became too small. As soon as I got a house I started the upgrade. I just modified this after the original build and ran some water/vinegar through it and no there won't be a plastic catch bucket when I run my booze. It ran great and I am looking forward to doing more than about 4 gallons at a time (that is how big my old still was, now I've got 15.5 gallons!)

Re: Built another one
Nice rig... Looks like you've got the condenser scaled for some hot-n-heavy distillation there...
Good luck...

Looks like it is designed to send plenty of flavor down the pipes. I am particular to these type of stills.
Love it! Thanks for sharing your build. Is that 2" pipe?

Yeah it is 2" pipe down to 3/4 then 1/2 in the condenser. That trash can was the only thing I had bigger than 5 gallons without holes in the bottom and I figure it will be nice if I don't have to change the water in the run. I think I'm going to do my first stripping run on it tonight. No problems with the vinegar run and I only had the trash can about 1/4 full so it should run a lot fast than my stove top rig when I fill it up.
