Hi all-
Brand Spanking newbie here. Running a 5 liter pot in my basement. I usually run 4-5 batches at a time off an electric burner. There is not much air movement. I have not had any luck finding info here about this yet, am I putting myself in danger?
Basemrnt Srt up. Ventalation?

First of all, welcome to the HD forums, Sugarchef...
As far as safety is concerned, as long as you are knocking down all of the vapors from the distillate your pot still produces you shouldn't have any major safety concerns... Just make sure you leave yourself an exit, keep a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, or a charged water hose, nearby just in case... Carbon monoxide is not an issue, but the buildup of alcohol vapor is...

Cool! Thanks for the info. Just starting to make my way through all the awesome info here and wanted to make sure my recent headaches were due to the weather change and not the new hobby.
