Howdy

Post by UNRECONSTRUCTED »

New to the site, but I been drinkin' corn for 100 years. I have been doing some reading on how it's done and I have figured out that I want to make 'shine, but I don't want to make a still. Now, I have been looking around on ebay for a good one. I am not too sure I will find a good one on ebay, but it's generally the first place I go when looking for something. I want to make some nice flavored whiskey and I was thinking about this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/10-GALLON-COPPER-MO ... .m14.l1262" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

If you more experienced hands could tell me what y'all think, I sure would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Tex

I'm as green at this as anyone, but if you've been drinking corn for 100 years, i think we are all on to something.... welcome aboard, and good luck finding a nice still

$1,200 is far to expensive for my wallet, purdy looking or otherwise... I could buy a lot of commercial booze with that amount of money...

I know it is pretty expensive...

I plan on setting it up somewhere that I am going to have to see it all the time, so I would like it to look halfway decent.

I am just hoping that it looks like something worth cookin' corn in.

Well so far it sounds like I have picked out a decent first still. Thank y'all for taking the time to help me out.

I am really enjoying reading and learning about this new hobby of mine. I am so glad that I found this site. It is a wealth of information and seems like a very friendly community.
