Thick aluminum beer cans for storage

I've got a few of those Bud aluminum bottles around and thought they might be good to store vodka in. I have some corks for the tops. Is aluminum ok for this?

Alcohol should not be stored in aluminum... If it was a good idea you'd see aluminum bottles in liquor stores... Use glass...

those beer cans are coated on the inside, so you don't taste the can, and the coating can and will wear off.
