Ceramics verses copper mesh?
I am buying a new column still and wanted to ask you guys which you would prefer, i am going to be used grain for mash. Thanks, aka, BYB

The type of still you start out with depends on what type of spirits you want to end up with... For neutral spirits a reflux still works best... For flavored spirits like whiskey, rum, or brandies, a pot still is a better choice... Copper and Stainless Steel structured packing are 3X more efficient than structured ceramic or marbles...
