Volume of Corn
Getting ready to start a batch of UJSSM but I don't have a scale. Any way to approximate the weight of the cracked corn? For example, 1 quart jar = ?lbs or something similar. Thanks, V

Another one of those US phrases, blanikdog...
"Close enough for government work."
"Close, but no cigar."
Not trying to start an international incident here...
Not even close...

Ya want to start international incident, take your limy wife to E. TN and have her use the word yank just once.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

LOL
"I want to help" is a legitimate statement. Weather they actually HELP or not is the question. Just like those on assistance, they "honestly" "WANT" to work, they just don't.
Good 'ole govt. Like buying a gun, you're not approved, rather, you're "not dissaproved".
Don't you love it.
Anyway, for what it's worth, I measured a quart mason jar filled to the shoulder of the jar several times and averaged the weights. 1#2oz. on average for cracked corn.
