Only ever saw this once; frost on the trees, all the trees and the bushes, as much as forty feet high or even more. Pure magic.

Army sent me to Panama for awhile years ago. When I stepped off the plane thought I was gonna die!! Having grown up in Colorado and Wyoming I had never been subjected to such heat and humidity. Got use to it, sorta. Now I live in the South and can't imagine anything else.

We do get those thick, humid, repressive heat days during the months of June to September.

So repressive that the waspy white people turn purple (certainly no offence intended), its so friggin hot.
Worst time ever to work on the roof.
My lead man is 18 years my junior and strong as an ox but seems to always stroke out once every summer.

Except for the cold snap every now and then, the winters are why so many people save their entire lives to move here.

I work round this beach 2 to 3 times a year for a month or so at a time.
