Hey, trying to build a PSR-25 phase angle controller, and I know a few threads have been made but wanted to be sure.. is this the right piece of gear?
http://parts.digikey.co.nz/1/1/17919-po ... n250k.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
and

I know I need a heat-sink as well but yeah. Also is that controller expensive at 115NZD or is that standard?

Yes, for 240V that is all you will need for components... Of course you'll also need a project box, knob, cord, power plug, power outlet, heat sink, optional switch... And anything else I forgot...

Re: PSR-25 build
Should be all good at 230V yeah?
Cheers Rad. Still trying to find a good project box but should be able to get the rest of the stuff pretty easy. It's gonna have my thermocouple controllers in the box as well so need a good one.

Yes, 230V will be fine... Depending on the country the common rating is referred to as 220V, 230V, or 240V, but they all mean the same thing... The biggest difference is in whether a countries AC is running at 50hz or 60hz...
