Very nice site lots of pretty good info for the most part

Ive been looking at this site for quite some time finally

got around to joining.


Ive been running a still for more years then i care to say

it makes me feel too old if i start adding it up.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello.

Im not educated on some of the things talked about here

But i know what works for me and works very well.

Im using a pot still its about 60 gallon give or take a little, with a thumper

I have two 55 gallon plastic barrels for my mash, switched to plastic when

my old wood barrels started leaking on me.

I fill her up about half way when it ready to go so 2 runs per barrel

I dont use a thermometer , not that i dont like

the idea of a thermometer i just didnt learn it that way.
