I'd just like to say howdy. I have a nice little 24L pot still that I've only used to distill water in so far... I'm looking forward to my fermenting my first batch using only sugar, water and yeast... Eventually I'd like to learn more about fruits as I've got a lot of it around here (I picked 6 gallons of blackberrys in two days last year.... sitting in the freezer ready to be used).
I've already learned a lot about cuts and taking your time. More on how it all goes later!

Welcome, Abide787...
Don't be in too much of a hurry to get started... Make sure you have a complete understanding of the theories surrounding fermentation and distillation... The reason I say this is because your "recipe" doesn't include any nutrients for the yeast... Sugar is not a nutrient... Check out the Tried and True Recipe forums as well... You'll also see links to two sugar wash recipes in my signature...
Good luck...

Welcome to the forum, it's a great journey ahead. Did you make your own still or purchase it?

Purchased it. I wanted to get some experience before building my own... Eventually I would love to build a nice copper rig. I thought it best to learn a few ropes so I could have a baseline to work from.

Rad,
I'm doing your wash with the dried Gerber baby food -
* 3.5 cups sugar
* 4 liters water
* 1 cup Gerber Barley flavored baby cereal
* 2 tbsp active baking yeast
I am also ariating (sp) everything with an airpump before adding the yeast. Oh and I expanded everything for a total of 25 liters.
The yeast goes in today.
