OG : 10%
Used a pot still and we distilled the wash twice and I was extremely careful and discarded 200ml for first and second distillation(10 liter pot still) as I knew I would not use it as I wanted a neutral spirit. If you look at the picture, it's cool to see that the abv is slowly going down and then at the end, it starts to go down very quickly !

If I understand everything correctly and my goal is to make flavored vodka, I will discard the first 2 jars(82%-80%) and last 2(50%-45%).

What recipe?

The "All Bran" or perhaps a malted wheat extract recipe does a really nice job of a nice old school vodka...IMO. I think you could distill twice , then dilute down to 40% with another "wash" for the third distillation for a really nice drop.....just thinking out loud.

I used Wineos Plain Ol Sugar Wash.

Once the jars have had a chance to air for 24 - 48 hours, you'll know... You can then pick and blend by smell and taste... Even when reflux stilling you can occasionally end up with a jar in the heads or tails group that just doesn't fit into the chronological order well and has an off taste or smell... It isn't always a matter of eliminating only the front and back ends...

Ok Rad, I will water it down to 40% and do the smell and taste thing. I can already tell you that the last 2 jars have an unpleasant smell.
