hey guys, its taken me about 6 months but now i can say I've got my first run under my belt. took me awhile to gather all my parts and put them together but i think my still turned out pretty good for a first timer. its a 10gal stainless pot still with 2 inch copper tower and 3/4 inch copper coil, water cooled in a barrel. would any body like to see some pics i think i got a couple handy. oh and "howdy from nc"

Welcome to the forum, we always love pictures....so you have your first run under your belt, you mean your cleaning run or past that and an actual run if so what did you make? Should I open a can of worms and ask who has the best BBQ ribs recipe North or South Carolina

Welcome to HD apple-jack...

Heres how to upload your images to HD...

If you need to resize them HD will inform you in RED text, This Free Software will Help...
This will also give you and others reference to the image if your Photobucket account goes down...

every time i tried that it said "The image file you tried to attach is invalid." the pics are in .jpg format. does the forum support this? if so the only other thing i can think of is my operating system is linux, not windows. oh well, the important thing is i found this site. and thanks for the help.

Physical dimensions and file size are also limited... But, yes, .jpg files are the type you want...

Stay under 600px X 600px and under 100k and you should be fine...

thanks, and dont worry i dont set-up and run in the barn, that barn is older that dirt, it would go up in flames like a cardboard box. the worm is 3/4 and i think i drilled the hole in the barrel 5/8(i think thats right). the barrel is plastic so i heated around the hole slightly with a propane torch and forced the worm through. it still drips just a little and since i was unable to fix it with silicone, i just tied a rag around the copper so water wouldn't run into the product. i've only done 1 run so i'll figure out some way to fix it. i ran about 60 gal of apple mash through it(fermented in the oak barrel seen here before i removed the top). oh and beleive it or not that worm is 35ft long.
