Dreamin of summer

Post by OlympicMtDoo »

The crab pots were all hung on the shed wall with care in hopes that summer soon would be there. Anybody else got cabin fever, I mean I love makin booze and drinkin it but I like to do it in the warm weather sometimes to. The little woman makes great company but the cabin starts to get awful small this time of year, and she's gettin tougher, barely took her two falls out of three last night. HELP!!!!!   I dream of kickin back in the boat while the crab pots are soakin, with a little bullshit and beer.

My wife was just now saying that she's fed up with the winter. We don't have that kind of snow, but we do get rain, which at times feels worse than snow. We're feeling dank and moldy. Your setting looks spectacular, by the way.

This has been the lightest winter here in my lifetime, and many of the old timers as well. Record setting warmth, No snow. But I miss summer. Not the balls stuck to your leg 90F+ 100% humidity, but the 80F kick back in porch sippin 8)

If you look like food, don't be surprised when you get eaten.

It's in the 50's here at the moment and the snow is pretty much melted away from the lake effect snow we got over the weekend... I'm loving the mild winter we're having here in the snow belt... I think we're about 4 feet below average for snowfall... :lolno:

My poor kids all they want to do is play in the snow, it all melts before they can even put their boots on

Not quite 50 but lower 40's today and sunshine, felt like spring. Not use to these temps in Feb usually around 10 and lower. (not complaining feels good)

Ya, i'm done with winter. It's been a big disappointment this year. Can't snowmobile, cross countryski or ice fish. Might as well be summer. Me and my drinkin buddies like to toss a few back, do a little jet skiin and have a picnic at our favorite island.

I have to admit I live about 3 hours from OlympicMtDoo and I am also tired of the winter and ready for boating season. Winter fishing can be fun but God I sure get cold running the kicker sitting on the back transom with with my gloves on. My saving grace is I am going to spend 20 days in Hawaii the end of March and into April!

-4°C here in Scotland. OK for January, but sick of the wind and rain...

Need some of OD's +40° weather so that I can get back up the mountains...

Been really mild in Tenessee, only a few days so far below freezing, 54F today, but we have had a lot of rain. Seems like it's raining almost every other day.

Sounds like most everyone is having a bit better than average winter, with the exception of maybe Samohon, that sounds pretty damn cold, better through some duct tape round the bottom of your kilt to keep out the cold wind :D I know Bushman probably got hit even harder than my place in that last storm. Keep your sugar dry. OMD
