new guy Boka Build.

Post by streetrat »

Alright, got to the point where I figured i better move pictures here to the build forum instead of the welcome thread. Just finished up a small liebig condensor for the output should it be needed, as I have read a few complain about distillate exiting the Boka warm/hot, better to be prepared! Also finished up The mainn condenser for the Boka, a single wound 3/8 od coil with a 1/2" id coldfinger. Next on to the column !

Looks really nice! Has your cap got a vent hole in it?

Gerber, All Bran, or Birdwatchers would be good starter recipes for neutral spirits...

Well alright. been a few weeks and I have been able to run a couple wash's of Gerber through the new Boka. results are a very consistent 94% ABV  As far as Rad's Gerber...Awesome, couldnt be easier or more reliable. First batch was by the recipe exactly, and second one I messed with a litlle, switched out the barley cereal for whole wheat, Double up on lemon juice in the invert, Didnt really matter either way. Good reliable recipe. Thanks Rad!
