Re: Just Another 4inch Column
I made them, one of the perks of my job. But I saw something at McMaster Carr Type 2205 Stainless Steel http://www.mcmaster.com/#bull's-eye-sights/=gnubch" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow kinda expensive. I bought the glass from them & 4in tri clamp.SHINER26 wrote:where did you get them site glass fittings? looking good

Thanks, the only thing I'm not sure about is the height of the downcomer on top of the plate. I have 3/4 right now.

Some pics of the deplagmator, punching plate holes, by hand mind you, no machine involved.

What material are you using as the center post for your plate tree? The work looks great. That Cu/SS dephlag is wicked cool!

Stainless steel, I think 1/4 inch 20 threads per inch. Any good hardware store, not expensive.Padraig wrote:What material are you using as the center post for your plate tree? The work looks great. That Cu/SS dephlag is wicked cool!

My alien probe. Found two minor leaks after deplag, after fixing them I have to attach water fittings.
