Hiya,
In the next couple of days I am going to undertake the task of upgrading the server from FreeBSD 8.1 to FreeBSD 8.3.
This will probably take the better part of a day or more and the site will be unavailable while I'm doing it. It's a big task and requires remaking all the system binaries, and all the third-party software. There's just no fast way to go about it.
So, if you log in sometime in the very near future, and you discover that the site is down, don't panic! We will be back as always.
