Need help in getting credit for the mini-still

Post by bokakob »

Hello, everybody. Just recently I stumbled on a site http://puredistillingusa.com/products/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow where the owner seems to use the still of my design and claims it to be designed "by Greg." I wonder if everyone who used benefited from the mini-still would use credits to the original design. I am asking for volunteer help to correctly identify the origins of this still anywhere on the net. Any help would be very welcome. Thanks, Alex aka BOKAKOB

People, IF and when you find any designs on the net which fall into this design (many do), but do not give credit, please reply to this thread, AND we will make sure Alex is also informed.

Alex, is the PDA-1 from your design, is it an LM design all on it's own? I have never seen one up close, only seen the stock advertising pix.

Hi Alex I joined the site in January 2008 and at that time you gave me loads of help in constructing your 2 CUP Still. I remember clearly that the MINI Still was your design as well and also many other designs. So if anyone is claimiung fame to that after that period then Im afraid they are stealing your designs.
Hope you are well never heard from you for ages.
Regards

Hi Alex as an occasional user of a variation of your design I would like to express my gratitude for your unpatented designs as I expect would many thousands of other users :clap: :clap:

Your design was and is a gift to the distilling community. I'll be sure to trash the shit out of anyone that tries to capitalize on it saying it was their idea.

This ass hole..... I really need to make a trip.

I thought the Puredistilling rig used the product take off tube extending into the column with the top side trimmed off instead of slant plates... :think: At least that was how older models appeared to function... :eh:

There was a thread not to long ago where someone was asking which one was better. A PDA-1 or a Rainier. Both look to be a variant of your design of some sorts. But in that thread he talked about the amphoria people telling him Rainier stole their design. And they were the first. I do beleave I posted in that thread that it was your design and they had got the design from you. If I find the thread I will post a link.

I found the thread here on HD.

I was mistaken. He also posted the same question on AD. And that's where the discussion had taken place about who stole what.

Bokakob = the "ONLY" slant plate ! ! ! ! !
It is not the matter, nor, the space between the matter,
but rather, it is that finite point at which the two meet,
that, and only that, is what is significant...........
(Of course, I could be wrong) ..........
