Just picked this up clearence line
Only paid 10 pence

Its still in use by date
Ingrediants: yeast,emulsifier(sorbitan monostearate)
At its price could not leave it on shelf
Is it ok for brewing or just leave it for the wife for making bread

Not familiar with it, but I would think it's just plain old bakers yeast. Give it a try. Good find.

It's a strain isolated likely from sourdough that can break down the starches on its own before fermenting.
The still is not a liar. Mash and ferment quality is 99.9% of your performance.

Same additive as Allinsons Easy Bake yeast I use. Not had any problems so far so you should be fine.
Bargain at 10p! :thumbup:
