Essential Oils
Im going to be honest, I got tired of searching. I need an answer to a very simple question. A friend of mine is opening a pottery/native american/herbals/smudging/cerimonal store and wants to know since I have a still if I will use his crops and produce his essential oils. Will this ruin my liquor still? Lavender, rosemary, sage, wormwood, are some of the oils I would be producing. Will the oils clean out of my still, or will it harden inside my copper and ruin my liquor? Probably would be the same as running beer w/hopps in a still and ruin it right?

Re: Essential Oils
Most would recommend a dedicated still from essential oil manufacture...

Re: Essential Oils
i guess it depends on how many cleaning runs you want to do or how lavender whisky tastes. could give your product extra charm with the wormwood.
