happy happy f-n happy

Post by frodo »

I dont know if you guys know it or not, But my wife has been VERY ill the last year and a half
she can not swallow food, is down to 86 pounds, and not doing real good.
kinda the reason i have not been around to much, been to busy feeling sorry for my self.
I have been to dr after dr, and those quacks do not know their ass from a bucket of shit.
but, after getting in a dr face, being escorted out the building

and showing my ass up and down the hall way.
they finally started taking us serious, the dr with the funny accent is no longer on the case but his boss is. and he thinks he knows what the problem is,

one more test, a muscle biopsy, according to him we should have an answer in 7 or 8 weeks

prayers are always welcome,
just wanted to vent a little bit and get it off my chest,

Hang in there, frodo... You and your wife need to continue to fight the good fight... I have more than a few friends in terminal stages of various illnesses so I know how stressful it can be for all involved... We'll be here whenever you can stop by... All the best to the both of you...

Frodo I'm on board as well.

I recently decided to take charge and not let doctors off easy but to make them put up or shut up.
It's so easy for them to see you for ten minutes, prescribe something and move on to the next portion of their boat payment.
So I started putting all my symptoms into Google and seeing what came out, got some ideas and went to see my GP and asked if there were tests for said diseases.
He said "Actually, yes" and made some calls and I got tests and found out what's been going on (improperly diagnosed for over 30 years).
Moral of the story - you are doing nothing wrong, be the biggest pain in the ass they have ever dreamed of and make sure they know you are not leaving.
Nobody else is going to fight for your wife like you will.
