Ok, I didnt know that there was so much difference between regions in the US but it makes sense

There is not much difference here between regions regarding salary but there are only two places that I can get a job, since I am in the software dev business and that is the capital city, Reykjavík and the largest town in the north, Akureyri.
Anywhere else there is no job for me unless I would turn back to nautical navigation then I could get a job anywhere but that then I would not make as much money

all the images i see of iceland are beautiful blonde women and natural wonders that are begging to be explored. At the end of a long hike. a warm cozy abode with geothermal heating and friendly people.

i think if i lived there i'd be too busy hiking and boating to hold a job.

Odin - is there any movement in Europe on the larger scale legalisation of home distilling? I figured you'd be the person to ask as it would benefit your business...

No, not really. Hungary has legalized it, but it's against EU regulations. There may be some small window of opportunity though. With the UK leaving, the biggest lobby (Scottish Whisky) may be less. Even though I don't see the UK or Scotland leaving that soon.

In the Netherlands, where I live, there have been two attempts to legalize it, where I was sorta involved, in helping out a bit, but politics is reluctant. I expect a new try later this year.

Sorry for going off topic.

I was raised on a farm, but soon found out I am too ignorant to be a farmer. I was smart enough to become an engineer, though. No problem! Became an agricultural engineer. Trained to reorganize the fragmented farmland into larger, viable farms. Never worked in the field: when I finished my study, the problems were solved.
Being raised on the farm made me handy with tools, plants and animals, being educated on a university made me smart, curious and questioning. The best of two worlds!

Had some time a shop for environmentally sound articles. Recycled paper, paint based on linseed oil, herbs, wooden toys, cloth made of natural, organically grown fibres, things like that.
After that I worked for an organisation to help refugees. Helped them to find their way in our society.
Later I worked for a community organisation.
I have no wife, children, car or pets, so I do not need much money. I always made sure I had enough time for myself to do the things I really like. Among them research to make a life cycle analysis, binding books, making wine or distill, making a dictionary Farsi-Dutch v.v.. Helping friends with their administration.
Now I am retired, but still do work for the community centre.
Keeps me off the street, so I do not all kinds of misschief.
Saves a busstop and keeps a oldtimer alive, as one of my friends says.

I do weight and balance for a major airline on the cargo side. These containers are leased to accommodate the horses that we ship around the world. The horse attendants leave these 6 gallon containers which are used to hold drinking water for the horses. I scooped up a few of these and use them for racking.

Is there a fix to rotate these pictures correctly?

The fix is to use an image editing app to rotate if on a dumbphone, even if it displays fine on the device... However, a better option is to use the right tool for the job which is a computer to rotate and resize the images... It's the metadata that needs to be teaked via software... I tried accessing this site once from a phone and that was the end of that... Actually, twice - once normally and once using Tapatalk... I'll stick with PC's forever because they are the right tool for most jobs...

Tried that. Comes up fine on the computer. Even tried rotating the opposite way.

Well, I got out my spoon and started digging with Google and this is what was at the top of the list when I searched for "mobile pics display sideways":

http://rotatemailer.com/sideways-pictures.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

http://www.howtogeek.com/254830/why-you ... y-rotated/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/digita ... ctures.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow

You're welcome... Every answer isn't gonna be on this site... Sometimes you have to take some self-initiative... This isn't a HD related problem...

Googe I used a CNC plasma cutter when I cut my 4" hole in my keg for my column. Worked great just had to add water in the bottom of the keg so the slag would be easy to clean out and not stick to the inside of the keg.

Hi all, I'm a technician working in Air Traffic Control. My team keeps the systems running that put pretty dots on controller's screens. Before that I spent 10 years doing lighting and sound on everything from ballet to rock n roll
