My question is if the leftover yeast is boiled for use as a nutrient, how much nutrient would this supply to a new wash and how much extra nutrient would need to be supplied?
Do many people do this and would it be suitable to boil the leftover yeast with the sugar when inverting it?
I save a cup from each run to start the next (for my neutral sugar washes). I have a concoction of bakers yeast/ec-118/turbo. It works good, and I think every generation makes it smarter. It is a yeast monster of sorts.... As kiwi would call it

I don't know about the turbo, but EC 1118 is a "killer" strain ,that is to say it kills other yeast, then it has the ferment all it to its self

Yep that strain is a monster. Most yeast strains will fight and only one will survive but the 1118 strain wins against most all yeast. It even beats out a lot of wild strains.
