Some Good Music Here

Post by heynonny »

While surfing, I ran across this site:

http://www.archive.org/search.php?query ... ews&page=1

They have several hundred pages of ooold music 'ripped' from 'Edison' cylinders and old 78rpm records mostly fron the teens,'20's, & '30's
Specifically here:
http://www.archive.org/details/GidTanne ... kers-01-10

And in this case #2 pretty funny I thought (made during prohibition?)

Theres a LOT of good old music here, check it out

This is an excellent site for old 78 recordings (in mp3 format). A lot of them a fairly scratchy, but...

You need these to access the main page:

Also, the torrent he mentions is now dead.
Be safe.
Be discreet.
And have fun.

Don't forget Mother Maybelle Carter and the Wildwood Flower. One of the classics.
