Hello Im New

Post by Steve_PH »

Hello all,
My name is steve. I recently discovered that it was possible to buy a small still that could be used on a Stovetop and was instantly infatuated with the idea of home distilling. I love cooking and coming up with new tasty new recipes so i thought it would be fun to do the very same with spirits. I have some wine making experience. My Friend b-ron is way more into wine making tho and will probably help me a lot with fermentation end of things. I haven't bought a still yet. I figured id try to lean as much as I can here while im saving up for one! ( although i was surprised to see they arent AS expensive as I thought they would be)

:egeek: Anyways I see you guys around i hope to learn lots :eugeek:

Couple members run stove top stills (or the like).

Great fun with my first still (a stove top)

Try and go with a 20 liter boiler if you can.
try not to go any smaller than a 7.5 liter boiler.

Good luck

This is my first lil potstill.

Liebig condenser is for sale BTW.

Greetings, Steve_PH...

I am currently running a small scale stove top still... See the link in my signature... Do your research and you might be inclined to build rather than buy...

Good luck...
