Hello everybody. Distilling is a great activity and this is a fantastic site. I am proud to be a member of the community. It seams there are several of us located in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
I am getting ready to run my first spirit run with my friend and it is only possible due to this forum. Thanks everyone!

Greetings, Lawrenceburg Native...
We are, in fact, a very diverse bunch here... What are your home distillation intents and/or desires...??? Looking to make some flavored spirits like whiskey or rum, or neutral spirits...??? Also, any still designs catching your eye yet...???
Good luck to you...

Re: Another member from the Pacific Northwest in USA
I would just like to be able to produce a few different spirits for myself and my wife. She likes vodka and I enjoy bourbon and other whiskeys. I would also like to produce a decent gin for the summer at some point.
Have just recently produced 6.5L of low wines from 2 row malt using a bokakob design he called "2-cups" still. The column is a 2" at about 1 m in length.
I plan to make the fine spirits distillation in the next couple of days. At some point, it would be fun to swap product with others. It seems that is a long time from now however.
