Why does HD log me out when I try to post?

I log in successfully but when I try to post on someone’s thread it wont allow me to and boots me off each time. I have tried repeatable log in but to no avail.

I always check the box ”log me in with each visit” That does not work either.

Any suggestions on how to cure this?

I have a similar problem when I post, MR. It will let me post then it kickes me off and I have to bring the site up again but it dosen't log me out.

What browsers seem to be doing this the most...???

I almost never have to log in from any of my machines but I primarily use the latest releases of Firefox...

I had a similar problem a while back. I cleared my cookies for this site. Logged back in didn't have it anymore. Found I have to do this from time to time? When it starts acting funky on me I just hit the delete all board cookies link on the bar at the bottom of the page.

I tried that from two different computers and it did not work.

That seems to be working for me. I still use stupid AOL. I.E is working fine. I will use it for awhile.

I know, and you thought you were old. Funny, I have ten free email addresses through my web domain and have never switched over. I have kept it because of my business address.

My girlfriend is using Goole Chrome and swears by it. Firefox? Is it as good as they say?

Obviously there are some forum members who are very good with computers. Me? Hardware is no problem, I have rebuilt my computer at least five times. Software? Each day is a new adventure. If the same thing that happened yesterday doesn't happen today, I'm flumbergasted.
