Is this still safe to use, Help needed
My longtime copper pot is to the point its not worth fixing anymore. I have a friend who has a galvanized 10 gallon pot. Is it safe to cook with galvanized steal ?

Galv. is not the prefered choice as it will eventually give out on you. We at HD only recommend stainless or copper.

Galvanized steel has no place in a still or for use as a mashing pot... Ever see your mother cook you dinner in a galvanized pot...??? There's a good reason why you didn't... Find a cheap stainless steel stock pot for small to medium scale or a legally sourced stainless steel keg...
