I had spoke with Paul-the owner of Turbo stomper stills about buying one. Had a few conversations, si I decided to buy one. Gave him my credit card info-card was charge for $605. had another conversation with him about when I'll be getting it.
It's been 3 months since we've talked. He has his phone go straight to a voice message. He also took done the messenger from the website. I'm a disabled Veteran, just looking for a hobby. But there's always one thief in the crowd.
Ripoff Report is a good place to try to find if you might have problems. Sounds like Paul took the guy's money and he never got anything in exchange.
3 Rip Off Reports: link
Discussion forums render good research, too. I usually search discussion forums (like this one) before making a big purchase.
Because the site owner has submitted his sites to every search engine imaginable, his sites come up on the search engines. This does not mean that he has a good product or a lot of favorable reviews - it means that he likely is paying for marketing. The more links going to his web sites, the higher on the search engines. Likewise, the more links going to his terrible reviews, the higher the terrible reviews will be in the search engine.
Don't like the product? Put the Rip Off report link in your signature. Make it clickable (like what I have highlighted in bold. The people who go read the Rip Off report can make up their own minds.
I usually go to Reseller Ratings and look up a website, too, when I make a large purchase. But they don't have any review there.
Interesting! Looks like we have someone right here in Lafayette, LA building stills that look an awful lot like Turbo Thumpers: http://stores.ebay.com/Popcorn-Thumper- ... 4340.l2563
